Military Questions AnsweredLet’s get right into it shall we?

Which branch of service is the best for me?

This answer is a tough one to give. Everybody is different, what’s right for me may be wrong for you.

The best piece of advice I can give here is simply to talk to all the recruiters and see which branch might work best for your personality.

You’re going to hear a lot of things from you friends and family that may have served. You may have friends that are already signed up with a particular branch, and they are listening to their recruiters and showing their pride in that branch of service.

My military career at work

Me working on an F-4

As you read in my last post I’ve added a new heading on the compass of the airplane patch. This new topic of conversation came from a day spent on yahoo answers reading military questions, seeing all the questions asked about the military and finding a place where I may be to help.

questions are asked daily about the military.

Troubleshooting at it's finest (image courtesy of www.af.mil)Troubleshooting is a time honored way of grading a mechanic’s skills. It stretches all spans of maintenance cars, boats, planes, you name it we troubleshoot it.

Of course here at the airplane patch, we are going to discuss troubleshooting as it pertains to the realm of aircraft maintenance.

Troubleshooting is a process of maintenance which is completed in order to accurately determine what is wrong with your airchine.

The benefit of a good set of troubleshooting skills is two fold.

1)  You prevent the “shotgunning” of new parts, which is just changing everything until is fixed.

2)  You save money by only changing what is broke. (more…)
